Q1: Where are your e-bikes shipped from and how long does it take?
A: We ship directly from our local European warehouses. For most EU countries, delivery takes only 3 to 7 business days. You will receive a tracking number via email as soon as your order leaves our facility.
Q2: Do I need to pay customs duties or additional taxes?
A: No! If your shipping address is within our standard EU delivery zones, the price you see at checkout is the final price. All VAT and customs duties are already covered by SAMEBIKE.
🚴 E-Bike Performance & Legalities
Q3: Do I need a driver’s license or insurance to ride a SAMEBIKE in Europe?
A: It depends on the model. Many of our e-bikes are equipped with a 250W motor and a speed limit of 25 km/h. In most EU countries, these are classified as Pedelecs (pedal-assist bicycles) and do not require a license, registration, or mandatory insurance. However, for models with stronger motors or throttles, local laws may vary. We highly recommend checking your specific local regulations before riding.
Q4: How far can I ride on a single charge?
A: Range varies based on battery capacity, rider weight, terrain, and the Pedal Assist (PAS) level you choose. Generally, you can expect anywhere from 40 km to over 100 km per charge. Using purely the throttle (if applicable) will drain the battery much faster than using the eco-friendly pedal-assist mode.
Q5: Can I ride my e-bike in the rain?
A: Yes! SAMEBIKE components are highly water-resistant (typically IP54 rated). You can safely ride in light rain or through shallow puddles. However, e-bikes are not submarines—do not submerge the motor or battery in water, avoid riding in torrential downpours, and never use a high-pressure washer to clean your bike.
🔧 Assembly & Maintenance
Q6: Is it difficult to assemble the e-bike when it arrives?
A: Not at all! Your SAMEBIKE will arrive 85% pre-assembled. You usually just need to attach the front wheel, handlebars, pedals, and seat. We include all the necessary basic tools in the box, and you can find step-by-step assembly videos on our website and YouTube channel. Most customers complete the assembly in 20-30 minutes.
Q7: How should I maintain the battery to make it last longer?
A: To maximize battery lifespan, try not to let it drain completely to 0% on a regular basis. Charge it when it drops to around 20%. During cold winter months, always remove the battery and store it indoors at room temperature. If you won’t be riding for a long time, store the battery at around 50%-70% charge and top it up slightly every month.
Q8: Where can I buy spare parts or a replacement battery?
A: Original SAMEBIKE batteries, tires, chargers, and other spare parts will be available directly on our website. Using third-party batteries is strictly prohibited and will void your warranty, as it may damage the motor system.
