Warranty Policy

The specific warranty covering your SAMEBIKE bicycle is governed by the law of the country in which it was purchased, and applies only to bicycles purchased from Authorized SAMEBIKE Retailers or directly from SAMEBIKE. If you believe you have a warranty claim after reviewing this policy, please contact us.

1. Warranty Periods & Overview

All SAMEBIKEs are covered by our manufacturer’s all-inclusive warranty against manufacturing defects for the original owner. The warranty period starts from the time the original owner receives the bike.

  • 14-Day Money Back: For 14 days after the date of purchase, you may return your undamaged/unused SAMEBIKE product and receive a refund (processed within 3 days after the returned bike arrives and is inspected at our warehouse).
  • Frame: Warranted for 3 years.
  • Batteries, Motors, and Other Accessories: Warranted for 1 year (excluding all wear and tear items).

2. Special Circumstances

What if I bought a second-hand SAMEBIKE?
You can enjoy the warranty only if the 1-year package hasn’t expired since the initial owner received it, AND you have the initial owner’s name and the initial order number.

What if my bike was stolen?
We are sorry, but stolen bikes are not covered by the warranty. We highly recommend investing in a quality lock to protect your bike when you’re not riding.

3. Claims & Shipping Damage

SAMEBIKE will replace any components that are deemed defective or damaged (including damage incurred during shipping) without user error. We will not replace any part without first seeing photos or videos of the damaged product.

  • General Claims: All claims to this warranty must be made through SAMEBIKE. Proof of purchase and visual evidence are required. Valid warranty claims will be processed within 1 year of the initial purchase.
  • Shipping Damage Claims: In rare instances, the item received may be damaged during transportation. If this occurs, provide us with photo/video proof. We do not accept shipping damage claims made more than 7 days after receiving the product. All free accessories are excluded from replacement or compensation if they cause scratches during transportation.

4. Frame Warranty Details (3 Years)

SAMEBIKE e-bike frames are covered by a replacement warranty for 3 years. This includes a replacement frame only. Labor charges to changeover parts to the replacement frame are not included and must be performed by an authorized SAMEBIKE technician. SAMEBIKE reserves the right to use scratch and dent stock when replacing a frame, or a compatible style/color if the original is out of stock.

Frame issues excluded from this warranty include (but are not limited to):

  • Corrosion, paint fade, scratches, and impact marks.
  • Impact damage or non-reversible modifications (drilling/welding).
  • Chain guard mounts to the frame (if applicable).

5. Battery Warranty Details (1 Year)

SAMEBIKE batteries are covered by a 1-year prorated warranty. During the first year of service, a defective battery will be repaired or replaced at no cost to the customer. After the first year, a prorated credit (based on months of service) will be applied toward purchasing a new battery. Batteries can be assessed and found defective only directly by SAMEBIKE.

Battery and General Exclusions: This Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

  • Accidents, abuse, abnormal use (stunt riding, racing), improper storage, exposure to liquid, moisture, abrasives, or abnormal physical/electrical stress.
  • Use of a battery charger not intended for the Battery, or broken battery seals showing evidence of tampering.
  • Using the battery in equipment other than the specified SAMEBIKE, or using third-party batteries on your SAMEBIKE (which may damage motors and displays).
  • External causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, theft, blown fuses, or improper use of electrical sources.

6. Parts & Components Details (1 Year)

Notice: Original SAMEBIKE parts and components are covered by a 1-year limited warranty. When spare parts are sent to the customer under warranty, the customer is responsible for bearing the freight (shipping) costs.

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • Ordinary wear and tear: Including but not limited to brake pads, rotors, spokes, tires/tubes, chains, chain rings, cassettes, cranksets, and parts compromised due to corrosion or the elements.
  • Damage to the surface finish, appearance, or aesthetics of the frame, forks, handlebar, seat post, saddle, brakes, lights, rims, wheel hub, freewheel, derailleur, shifter, motor, throttle, controller, wiring harness, LCD display, kickstand, reflectors, and hardware.
  • Labor charges for part replacement or changeovers.
  • Products with serial numbers or barcodes removed, defaced, or altered.
  • Damage caused by improper assembly, maintenance, or repair varying from the Assembly Instructions & Owners Manual.
